Donations! - Items to help our Friends Fighting in Iraq
| Rabbity wrote: |
| Well I guess I can ask on the behalf of the other 5 guys in my team, theirs are starting to rip at the important parts lol, but I'm TOTALLY serious about cadberry eggs and snacks here and there. I mean like our chow hall is shutting down soon and theres no way in hell i'm eating an MRE
Team Sharing- Small things Loca Moca Java Monster (seriously) Blue Monster Arizona Sweet Tea (cans) Easy Mac in microwave bowls, you knwo the cups ones. Cup Noodle Cadberry Eggs Pringles (all and every nom nom nom) Slim Jims (the small ones) like..college dorm room snacks basically Big things ($$) Replacement PCU's because we cant' DX these (DX = direct exchange) Sure Fire batteries Silly String (only a few cans..don't ask) |
The previous effort was simply to get a new jacket (PCU) for Rabbity and was an overwhelming success. The other guys in his squad would love to get a replacement for their worn out ones. They can no longer get them at the DX. Looking to raise about 300 bucks or so to pay for those. Paypal can be sent to ctgrey02 at airsoftct.com (obviously set that up as an email address.)
Shep has also agreed to setup a drop off at G&L Airsoft. Any of the items can be dropped off there. I'll get a box setup on Saturday there to take donations you can buy at the store. For batteries, any cr123A batteries will do for their surefire lights.
We're looking to get a drop box setup at the field too. Stay tuned.
Thanks in advance for your support of the guys. As in the previous thread, I'll stay on top of the donations until we have close to what we need and I'll donate my own portion to cover the rest + shipping.
MSAT Sniper Training Course: Dec 13-14 Oxford, CT field
For those who know MSAT quality training is the best available. “Casca” is the best trainer and only person that I know of in the area who can put on this type of training. We are very fortunate to get this chance before he leaves.
If you don’t know Casca he is the real deal military trained and qualified sniper. He will teach you tactics and as much as he can in such a short time. He will hold you to the highest standards in qualifying you as an MSAT sniper. Paying the fee does not guarantee you a passing grade, but you will walk away with incredible knowledge either way.
An MSAT qualified airsoft sniper will be the top qualified in the Northeast and as many know that means one of the best airsoft qualified in the country. IF you pass the training course you will be qualified for any MSAT run event. If you are curious about a specific field you can have that field contact us, but each field gets to make their own choice. I know that no field offers a better qualified trainer, so this MSAT sniper course should be good.
Please check out www.MSATO.org for the sniper manual and items you will need to bring.
Course info:
Dates: Dec 13-14, 2008
Start Time: 0900 Dec 13
Location: Grounds of Schreiber's Farm, Rt 188 in Oxford, CT. (next to Southford Falls)
We will be using part of the Yankee paintball field,
http://www.yankeepaintball.com/Directions.asp
15 min from Waterbury
20 min from Danbury
30 min from Bridgeport
45 min from Hartford
Cost $40 Course Fee plus $20 field fee (this covers both days of training)
Camping on site
Sign up including $20 non refundable deposit to payment@msato.org
If you have any question please contact me at crossfire@msato.org.
Sorry about short notice but I feel we are fortunate to get Casca before he leaves.
PS; Unless you specifically know MSAT or the trainers or how qualified these guys are and what a bargain the course fee is please don’t post up about how much you know from reading books, or you know someone who can teach you for less. These guys are professional soldiers who are offering us incredible knowledge, please respect them.
