Terrain: Woodland, thick vegetation, various elevations changes, several wood structures throughout. 4. Forces: 2 main fight forces. A third smaller fighting force will be executing special missions while the 2 main forces battle it out for dominance. Experience has proven that those who organize a command structure and a battle plan for each mission will succeed – lone wolves rarely do well. Depending on the size of the event, some elements may not be deployed. North Villagers: GREEN based CAMO Commander – TBD Available positions at registration = OPEN Headquarters Section- Highpoint Village Snipers –A team is sniper & spotter, NO LONE SNIPERS Mountain Mercs: TAN based CAMO Commander – TBD Available positions at registration = Kafir Hill Headquarters Section – Snipers –A team is sniper & spotter, NO LONE SNIPERS SEAL TEAM: Woodland BDU or Green based Camo Commander – Squad Leader of Team Available positions at registration = 5 Teams ONLY, consisting of no less than 9 members and no more that 15. Reliable comms (radios) are a must to communicate with Range Control. This is to report progress and to receive missions. D. No more than 2 SAWs per Seal Team E. When a Seal Team is not “doing work” during their assigned time segment they will be included in the North Villager Team or the Mountain Merc Team. E. Seal Teams from TOTS 2014 will have first priority for Seal Missions during TOTS 2015. Those teams are Able Squad, Team 811, and Kafir Milsim. New Additional teams are welcome, please contact Bernie “Tiny” to secure a time slot. F. During the only break of the day (lunch), Seal Teams will be given the opportunity to face off against each other to complete specific missions. To be considered for a Seal Team Mission, ONE and only ONE representative from a team should contact “Tiny” Bernie VanBuskirk or Jolly Green no later that Saturday, July 4th. 2. MISSION: Tears of the Sun is an action packed, target rich environment, force-on-force, objective oriented, 7-hour, single break (lunch) tactical simulation. Mountain Mercs (tan based camo) will battle the North Villagers (green based camo) for wealth. “No camo” will players will be considered hostile civilians and placed on the Merc or Villager team to balance out the fighting forces. 3. EXECUTION: A. Intent: Tears of the Sun is designed to provide a “safe and fun” airsoft experience through a continuous tactical simulation. Safety is the highest priority in replicating combat scenarios. Our ultimate goal is to provide an experience that leaves you exhausted and wanting more. An experience that develops tactic skills, communication abilities, enhance team work, camaraderie, and have fun. B. Concept of the Operation: This is an “OPEN GAME” and open to all walk ons. However, if you are late to the briefings your play time will be reduced because you will have to wait for the next group briefing. There will be on individual briefings because you were not prepared. We will clearly announce briefing times, it is up to you to hustle up and get ready. 1. Two opposing factions within the woodland environment seek to gain dominance through obtaining “wealth” by accomplishing missions. Collect diamonds, gold, cash, ammo, oil, fuel, weapons. 2. Wolcott Hobby and Airsoft Store will open at 07:00 for players to sign in and get supplies. 3. On Sunday at 07:30 role players need to report to the field for a briefing. 4. On Sunday at 08:00 Chrono opens and Sniper Teams Report to Range Control for a briefing. Sniper teams will be inserted immediately after briefing. 5. On Sunday at 08:30 Seal Teams Report to Range Control for a briefing and to receive their team’s insertion time slot. 6. On Sunday at 08:45 North Villagers and Mountain Mercs report to Safety and Game briefing. Insertions will occur immediately after briefing. 8. 09:00-09:30 North Villagers and Mountain Mercs units report to their assigned locations. At this time, each will set up a command structure and discuss a strategy to accomplish their first mission. 9. 09:30-10:00 the Main Battle begins. 10. PAUSEX is at 13:00. During those final 30 seconds the medic must be in contact with the wounded player. If a medic is “hit”, both players are “wounded” for another 5 mins. c. Another Airsoft Moment... Summer Slam at GZA as you all know was an overwhelming success but was also the scene of some awsome Airsoft moments. Airsoft is not all about shooting people and counting your kills it is also a very very social oriented event with good times had all around and some very special moments. Well here is one of those. Summer Slam was Neena Say's first Airsoft event as well her birthday. The raffle this time around was reversed with the main prize, and new AEG (donated by GZA) being raffled off first to maximize everyone's chances of winning it. When the first number was called a loud shriek could be heard from the back of the crowd. It was Neena! Happy Birthday Neena and Thanks for sharing your special day in special way with us and welcome to the GZA family. You havta love Airsoft Karma!

The next best thing you can do is come to Ground Zero Airsoft and pick up the supplies you will need for this weekend. OPSAT has started and our Big OP Series game for June is this week with Summer Slam shaping up to be an epic battle. We are making deals with our customers that you can not find at any ".com site". Unheard of deals on our pre-owned inventory. Can't make it to the store, call us up and we can get you what you need, again, the ".com sites" won't give you the service you get at GZA.
