Background:

ISAF forces in the region around Jalalabad Afghanistan have been Experiencing increasing actions from Taliban forces resulting in increased civilian and ISAF casualties. Tensions are at an all time high and the region is at a boiling point.

Task Force Orion, a unit consisting of the US 82nd Airborne Divisions 1/504th PIR, the British 2nd Regiment of the SAS and ODA 569 of the 10th Special Forces Group, have been moved into a recently constructed forward operating base near the Hindu Kush Mountains.

Task Force Orion has been tasked with stabilizing the region through the elimination of Taliban forces and establishing a working relationship with the local populous.

Intel:

This Operation will be run in a format familiar to those that have attended HMSG Vietnam operations in the past. A dynamic story line will unfold in front of you placing you in a movie like atmosphere. A chain of command will be in place to move the operation in a smooth manner. This will be run in a military fashion and freelancing and lone wolves will not be tolerated! Adhering to the COC ensures a smooth operation and success in your mission. This will be a 16 hour continuous operation. Participants will arrive at the firebase at 0800 and participate in 2-3 hours of training prior to the start of combat operations. Once combat has started it will run until endex at approximately midnight. Come prepared!!!

Show up ready to go!! Mags should be loaded and our gear should be able to be deployed once you arrive at the FOB. We will not wait for you! Bring enough food, water, ammo, batteries and whatever else you may need to complete the operation.

Camping before and after the event will be allowed so bring a tent and a sleeping

UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS

ISAF Forces

- 82nd Airborne, ODA 569 - ACU, DCU or ABU
- SAS - Desert DPM

OPFOR Forces

- Taliban - Woodland, Civilian, Durka or a Mix

Uniforms are not negotiable!! So don't ask about Multicam, MARPAT, CADPAT,ghille suits, thongs, banana hammocks, etc....

WEAPON REQUIREMENTS

NO WEAPON RESTRICTIONS, however the following is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED.

ISAF forces

82nd Airborne, ODA 569 - M4,M16 Variants/M240/M249/M60/US TYPE WEAPONS prefered

SAS -M4,M16 Variants/M240/M249/M60/L1A1/L85 (SA80) ect.

OPFOR Forces

Taliban - AK Variants STRONGLY encouraged, but not required. ALL Weapons Accepted.

*** SPECIAL WEAPON RULES ***

NO SNIPER RIFLES except for a few Taliban -- OPFOR users fielding SWS's will need to be cleared by ME.
There will be 1 D.M. for each spec.op.unit and the 82nd.

MID CAP MAGS ONLY!!!! ONLY Support Weapons may use Hi-Caps and Drum Mags. (And no, your MP5K with your C-Mag does not count as a support weapon, so don't even ask!)

FOOT WEAR

The Area of Operations has tough variable terrain with lots of undergrowth and fallen foliage. Sturdy footgear that provides ankle support is required..

EYE PROTECTION

Eye protection that offers ANSI Z 87.1 or higher impact protection is required. This includes tactical goggles, paintball goggles and shooting glasses. Mesh wire goggles are allowed.
Eye protection must provide both frontal and side impact protection. BCG glasses are NOT allowed as eye protection.

WATER/FOOD/SURVIVAL ITEMS/NECESSITIES ETC

Please be aware that OP: Centurion is a straight 16-hour Military Simulation. Once it begins at 0800h, there will be no breaks, and will continue until it Endex at Midnight. Hence, you will need to be able to have EVERYTHING with you that will allow you to operate effectively for this length of time -- for OPFOR, that means being able to carry EVERYTHING that you will need on your person and into the field. We will have a base camp, but we will not have the luxury of the Firebase. This is April in New England hence I cannot stress this enough -- BE PREPARED and BE READY!
- All players must have at least one canteen or water-bearing device of water on-person during the game.
- Drinking water will NOT be provided, so be sure to bring as much as you will need for the whole Operation. It is strongly recommended that you hydrate your body at least 2 days prior MINIMUM.
- Participants may bring any food they want to the Operation.
- CSX staff will be ordering MREs in advance. If you would like to purchase MREs you must inform the Staff prior to the event -- specify how many you will need and the amount will be added to your registration.
- We will not have any extra MREs on sight...so if don't pay in advance you will not receive one.
- Extra socks and clothing is strongly encouraged.

WAIVER

Here is the link for the downloadable Airsoft waiver:
http://www.humyo.com/F/3518913-17500065 ... Q1ZjkyZjA=

All rules will be strictly enforced and all members WILL adhere to each and every one.

If you are found to be violating the rules of the field you will be relieved of your duties and removed from the field for the game or for the day depending on staff discretion.

GENERAL FIELD/EVENT RULES

-400FPS MAXIMUM with .25’s. No exceptions.
-Safety glasses are allowed for 18+. Must be ANSI rated and pass field inspection of 400fps at point blank. THIS WILL BE CHECKED.
-18 and under MUST wear full seal goggles and must be ANSI and pass field inspection of 400fps at point blank. THIS WILL BE CHECKED.
-No bad attitudes. The simulation will be stopped and you will be asked to leave the field of play for that simulation.
-No physical contact of any kind unless designated as role players.
-Under 10 foot engagement: AEG’s will be on semi or a sympathy kill will be called and adhered to, NO EXCEPTIONS.
-Cheating will NOT be tolerated.
-All hits to the operator's body count as a kill, including web gear. Gun hits do not count.
-The simulation will be physically demanding. Do not attend if you have medical conditions that would preclude your participation in the event.
-No firing at or near animals.
-Going out of bounds is the same as being hit you and will be eliminated, do not shoot over the boundary for any reason.
-Pick up your mess.
-Under 14 years of age not allowed
-No springer pistols allowed. Spring shot guns may be fielded. All other weapon systems must be an AEG or GBB.

HMSG Medic Rules will be in place and available here in a later post.

If your sick of the same game and the same game mentalities THIS is the op for you!!!

More information to come!

No thongs or banana hammocks? What the fuck do you guys now about milsim.

I will do my best to get down there, seeings how it is run like Liberty Canyon. That was hands down the best game i ever attended.

EDIT: What about weapon/gear rules besides what you have listed? Like, M4 style/SAW for US only, etc. Or are there no real strict gear and gun rules.

keep on in mind ....
this is not your average event.
we need role players
keep it legit!
just because you are playing taliban.
does not mean you should show up in OD's or woodlands....
looking like some blackhawk down ranger..or some seal team from tears of the sun.
or some special forces badass from vietnam.
if u have a kit like that just pick up a pair of DCU's or ACU's for 30$ somewhere.
and roll US
if you need gear PM me.

OP Centurion: Medic Rule

Hi guys. For those of you who don't know me I'm a CT native. I played at Liberty Canyon and got so addicted I helped run In Country and Recondo School. I love MilSim. Diez asked me to post on the medic rule for Op Centurion. For those of you who played Liberty Canyon it should be familiar.

OP Centurion will use a very simple and realistic casualty system.
Before you go into combat you will be issued a casualty card by your squad medic. Make sure to approach a medic if you were not issued a casualty card. You are responsible for carrying a Casualty Card at all times. Carry your casualty card in your right breast pocket so the medic can find it quickly. Don’t worry if you lose your cards during combat. You can get a new one from any medic.During combat if you are hit by a BB act like you have been shot with a bullet. Simple as that.

If you are near a simulated explosion or a grenade detonates close by - use your best judgment to determine if you are wounded. We trust that you will go with what is best for the situation.

OP Centurion is like a movie. If you are hit, get into the scene and play your part. Other participants will do the same for you when they become a casualty. To reiterate: When you are hit you should act like you have just been shot with a bullet. It’s your job to act this part out. Really get into it. Fall to the ground. Scream. Moan. Or simply collapse and lay still. This is your chance to add to the realism of the OP. Yell for a medic or a buddy. Each unit will have a medic with the training and equipment to treat your wounds and return you to the fighting as a reinforcement.

If there is an intense firefight underway it is OK for you to crawl out of the way or find some cover from the shooting. If you are concerned about your personal safety do not fall down - just move away from the combat until you are in an area you feel is safe. You may shout if you want the other game participants to hold their fire.

Your casualty card will determine the extent of your wound and how it should be treated. As the wounded soldier you don't need to worry about what the casualty card - these are for guiding the medic in how to treat you and return you to combat.

After you have been treated OP Centurion staff will return you to combat as a replacement.

The medic rule is what makes this game what it is. It really adds to the realism. You could go from wounded one minute to either back fighting the next, or half your squad is wounded and you are waiting for a medivac.

Mercy, was that the same call sign you used at the Liberty Canyon game? If so i think you were RTO in my squad. Its great to see you helping out with these events.

Hold on to your knickers Girls! The Special Air Service just arrived. Eagle Squadron will be attending, and 7 of us just signed up to do out "Bit" against the **********.

Our Roster is
Monty-OC
Tex
Polack
Bo the Pro
Pyro
Deviated
Nine

I am not one for giving long drscriptions on our team, and I get bored very quickly when I see a team describe them selves as a "Special forces stye Hit and run Guerilla tactics recon team:, cuz that is usually a load of bollocks. We simply go out and enjoy ourselves and use our experience o do the best we can. Oh, and we never leave the field. We set up, and we stay there. Other then respawn we do not come off. If someones gun breaks, they use thier back up, if the backup breaaks, they use thier rubber knife. If the knife breaks we load mags for the other guys. That's pretty much what we do. We dopn't do suicide charges....we ain't *****. We do not walk around being ignorant to people because we spend more on our kit than others, we don't marvel over upgrades and we expect top be shot.....a lot.

We use getting hot as a learning experience. sp if you get the drop on us, please feel free to shoot.....I hate being safety or Mercey killed.....please shoot me or any member of my team rather than calling a mercy?safetuy Kill....we ain't ******, we want to get shot, thats why we play, and it is the only way we will be ready for when the Zombies start to take over.

Lets have a good hard game and look forward to meeting and playing with you all.

MOD Edit: Watch the racial slurs!

I am amending my former post to say that we are here to do our best against the terrorist organization that condones the acts of flying planes into buildings, shooting Allied Servicmen and women, promotes the beating of women in Market places, violates human rights, practices hate crimes in the name of religious tollerence, have declared all Western civilization as Satanic and worthess in the eyes of Allah. Taken the name oof Islam and its basic core of tollerence and encouragement of all religious practiice and turned it into a front for thier cause, blown up trains in Madrid, bombed the London underground and where just last month foiled from blowing up the New York Subway but must not be offended in anyway. Sorry to sound passionate about it, but 50% of the team that is comming with me has fought for that right.

I do have a question though. When I said in the other post "We are not Gay" you didn't edit that. I am an Hetro Male myself, but I am wondering why you didn't mind that being posted but the statement about the Mooj did. Just wondering why it is not offensive to make a statement about a social group that wants nothing more than tolerances for their sexual orientation, but making fun opf a terrorist organization is bad. I think you should have some consistency in your moderation if you are gonna jump all over the first amendment. I thought it was just the ragheads who wanted to prevent free speech.

sorry, but has 50% of my team has fought for that right, we kinda like it

Im not going to start a debate here, just want to iterate. The rules of the forums state no racism, even first amendment has no protection when check the box stating you will follow the rules. First amendment protects you to a limit, but not when you sign a contract, hench as you did with these forums.
Thats all I will say, dont bring any debate here, you want to continue this, pm me.

Monty, this is NOT the place for a political discussion. The board rules clearly state that nothing racist is to be up on these boards. It's bad enough I have to deal with ass backward rednecks and wanna be nazi's occasionally. I won't have it here either. The woman you're attacking/provoking has served our country with dignity and was released from the Army on medical (due to her service), so trying to call her out on patriotism just isn't going to fly. Half my team is former military as well, so are a good portion of the moderators here. I'm not sure where we're going with that.

Please return to the topic at hand and drop the needless rhetoric and incitement.

PM's sent and Sonja, I was not trying to question Patriotism or the service you have provided the country, and if it seemed that way I apologies. I will offer that same apology in person.
