ATTENTION!!
There was an issue with the fire suppression system in the building. Upon final inspection prior to opening, it was revealed that the fire suppression system did not meet current standards. At this time, we are on hold waiting for the landlord to update and replace the necessary components to meet current requirements.

We regret and inconvenience this may have caused. We do appreciate you enthusiasm and excitement and surely keep you posted on progress being made.

We are pleased to announce the opening of the first and only CQB facility in Connecticut.

The 18,000+ square foot facility includes a members lounge and pro-shop.

Large restrooms, lighting, and well built sturdy structures make up this facility.

This place is truly made by an airsofter for airsofters. Not some kids father, some backyarders, or someone just looking to make money off of our sport.

We have worked on this facility nearly three months which much sweat and time has gone into.

Much planning and thought has gone into the layout of the facility to help us bring one of the soon to be best fields in the North East.

Currently the field is divided in half with one side being approximately 9000 sq feet and the other being the same.

We will have the capability to run two separate games simultaneously.

We will be opening one side that has nearly 100 shoot rooms to begin with as we have different design ideas for the other side currently under construction.

Please visit our website for details.

Thanks Woodguy!
Gaming on Friday night was a must.
We are trying to keep people in the sport who's work, family, or personal schedule does not permit them to make it to the game on the weekends.

Not to mention it'll keep some of us sober on Fridays.

Before you youngin's get all hot and bothered by this, please read the rules... this is an 18 or over only facility.

https://ctcqb.sslpowered.com/ctcqb.com/Rules.htm

Also, added to fields page.

You guys affiliated with the Citadel? Looks like you lifted your rules page straight from theirs.

We are not affiliated with anyone. Citadel's rules just could have not said them any better for a C.Q.B. style facility.
We used some of their core rules, modified, subtracted, and added some.

All ages are welcome to come on down and check us out however as stated in the rules section, you must be 18+ to game.
This is not something made up by us. This is a town ordnance that was put in place many years ago. It reads:

"No person under the age of eighteen (18) years shall discharge or fire any rifle, pistol or other device which shall be designed or intended to fire or expel a B-B or other pellet by the use of compressed air or spring within the city."

We have challenged this ordnance and were swiftly shot down. We will continue to fight to allow for a 16+ facility.

Thanks everyone for your support and interest.

Question...
Says games will be from 1000-1400
is this airsoft time? or is it going to be strict to start at 1000, because I frankly don't want to pay $25 to stand around for an hour waiting for people to load up and only be able to play for 3 hours...

Great question Cody.
These gaming hours are to be considered "military" hours, not airsoft. That is exactly when we start. Of course depending on how the scenarios are going, scenarios might end extending past the stated end time.
We allowed for down time between games to do field cleanup by running blowers to get bbs off the floors.

People will be chrono'd and registered before the game. Safety briefings will be held 5 minutes prior to gaming along with the scenario briefing.

If people show up after the stated times, they will have to sit out until the next scenario briefing. We project a 3-6 minutes between the scenarios at most. It is important that when the game signal end is given, people reload quickly, change batteries, or do whatever they need to do within that time limit.

Awesome, this means 2 CQB places in CT. This place looks like the better one though. The one in Cromwell looks like it will be pretty small.

I also like how there's gaming Friday through Sunday. I will definitely be there for opening day.

Dammn... buy another upper gearbox for your ICS (if its M4 or M16) like I did. Now I have stock upper gearbox (M100) fith 300fps/0.2 for CQB and reinforced upper gearbox (M130) 430fps/0.2 fot outside games. Use that split gearbox advantage, retailers have ICS upper gearbox sets for sale and stock cost about 60$.

BTW I'm gonna be there on fridays :D cos its just 20 min away from me... I'm sorry wolcott :)

I'm getting one. I'd rather not change the springs in my rifles so I'm buying a new MP5. (tax refund)

In the description, he mentions a "shop". Will they be selling stuff also?

My tax refund is going towards Pine Plains.

On the site is says there will be a consignment type of set up going on. Doesn't really mention what else though.

Some of my refund is going to Pine Plains. Can't miss it if there will only be one OP this year.

I don't really like timing for the Friday game. If majority of 18+ are working till 5 or 6 pm + 2h for pit stop at home and traveling... its just 1.5 - 0.5 h left to have fun for 18$...
Its not gonna work guys.

Agreed. A couple hours later would be better.

Yeah, I get out of work at 4 PM too. Scheduling it for the time we'd typically be at bar is better.

Fuck.

I want to play indoors with the big boys. Looks great, besides the fact that I can't play. Not that it matters. An SPR would be just a little too much rifle for indoors...

Shooting people should help you cope.
