Introduction to course:

Airsoft is simulated small arms combat. Recently focus has shifted from the essential art of combat and more to the simulation and weapons manipulation, familiarity and safety has diminished. This course is designed to obtain the level of skill and safety needed to operate in a highly stressful and dynamic environment of armed combat. The TAC Course will be an elevated stress level of dynamic shooting on the move and force you to make rapid target discrimination.

This course will prepare you to effectively and comfortably assess, address and engage the variety of threats you will face. This course will not play down to the lowest denominator in skill set rather force you to bring your level up in order to survive. This course will challenge you mentality and physically as well as working in close proximity to other operators.

This course will be run with the intensity and oversight of a live fire weapons course. Therefore proper weapons handling, muzzle discipline, trigger control and range obedience will be of the utmost importance. Failure to keep yourself safe or your classmates will be grounds for dismissal or completion of remaining courses of fire with a non-firing weapon.

Target Acquisiton Course Topics:

Dynamic shooting on the move
Rapid Target Detection
Transitions from Point to Precision
Your role in the MOUT fireteam
Room clearing principles
